The Madigan Line DVD (AFN)

The Madigan Line: Video DVD covering the route pioneered by Cecil Madigan in 1939 from Old Andado to Birdsville.

With a party of 9 men and 17 camels, Madigan crossed the unchartered Simpson Desert. Seventy-five years later Vic Widman followed in his footsteps with a 4WD convoy along Madigan’s Line. This route crosses the desert north of the more popular tracks making sure it is a very different adventure.
